Spirituality & Education for Sustainable Development

Pilgrim-Symbol-11

A spiritual view gives orientation in life as a “fourth dimension” in the field of tension between economy, ecology and social issues. Spirituality can enrich and bring together the most diverse educational content, encompass the whole person and promote commitment to sustainable development. Those who know about the “what for” can change their behavior. Each level of education has effects internally and especially externally: from its core, spirituality, grows the values and basic attitudes that manifest themselves, among other things, in the corporate culture. All disciplines and branches of science contribute their questions and answers in such a way that the depth dimension of reality becomes tangible.

What is PILGRIM?

PILGRIM links education for sustainable development with a religious-ethical-philosophical educational dimension under the motto “Living Consciously – Giving Future”. It focuses on a sustainable future by encouraging change and strengthening trust in the present. Through the “different” view of reality, motivation is to be created to change one’s own actions in responsibility and respect for all living things.
